Research overview
Cagrilintide was developed by Novo Nordisk, which also studies it together with semaglutide as CagriSema.
In a 26-week phase 2 trial (Lancet, 2021) in adults with overweight or obesity, every weekly dose of cagrilintide reduced body weight more than placebo: 6.0% to 10.8% on average, against 3.0%.
