Research overview
It belongs to the methylquinolinium family of NNMT inhibitors. It is not a peptide.
In diet-induced obese mice (Biochem Pharmacol, 2018), a potent NNMT inhibitor of this family reduced body weight and white fat mass and lowered plasma cholesterol, without changing how much the mice ate.
