Research overview
Thymosin beta-4 is a 43-amino-acid protein found in almost every human cell. It is studied for wound healing, blood-vessel growth and tissue repair.
A 2012 review (Expert Opin Biol Ther) describes it as a multi-functional regenerative peptide and summarises the early clinical work.
